From the first gathering clouds to the brilliant arrival of clear skies, Forecast transforms the field into an ever-changing atmosphere of movement, energy, and color. Here Comes the Rain Again helps bring the developing storm to life, while Beethoven’s familiar “Ode to Joy” appears in fragments throughout the production before emerging in a powerful final statement.

Full Show with FX Package (save to device to hear entire show)

Overcast – Calm, suspended, and expectant, the opening establishes a sky filled with uncertainty as the storm begins to gather.

Storm – The atmosphere erupts with tension, motion, and intensity, creating opportunities for aggressive drill, rapidly changing forms, and dramatic visual effects.

Clearing – The storm gradually recedes, revealing space, light, and optimism. The production begins its transition from uncertainty toward hope and renewal.

Clear Skies – Color and confidence sweep across the field as Beethoven’s theme finally appears in full, carrying the production toward a triumphant resolution.

Created in collaboration with Marching365 and Creative Costuming & Designs, Forecast offers a cohesive world of music, costuming, props, and visual imagery. Its modular design provides numerous opportunities to customize the production around an ensemble’s size, strengths, and identity.

Forecast is part of the Complete Concept Series, which includes visual design suggestions and optional sound design.

Repertoire includes: “Ode to Joy” from Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven, Here Comes the Rain Again by Eurhythmics, and original music by Michael Pote.

An additional copyright fee of approximately $188 is required for this show.
