In Nostalgic, Fannin Musical Productions has crafted an ode to the power of memory, to the ability of simple things to transport us into worlds and times nearly forgotten. Cleverly taking Mussorgsky’s Pictures an Exhibition as a jumping off point, Nostalgic interweaves the Beatles’ haunting “Eleanor Rigby” to pull the listener backwards in their mind, evoking friends, lost loves, and the bright summer days of childhood. Take your audience on musical and visual odyssey into the dim recesses of their own memory and leave them with the broad, warm smile that can only come when looking back across your life and realizing how good it all has truly been.
