Welcome to the Jungle

Reclaimed by the Central American forests long ago, shrouded beneath a veil of green, lie the remains of some of the world’s greatest civilizations: the Classical Maya, and a host of other sophisticated & beautfiul cultures. Using a clever and unexpected variety of musical sources, the team at Fannin Musical Productions has crafted a thrilling musical tribute to these people in Welcome to the Jungle. The music of Prokofiev, Michael Kamen, and of course, Guns N Roses are reinterpreted through a Mesoamerican lens, and brought to life visually using the bright quetzal and turquoise colors that once adorned the cities of the Yucatan. Take your students and audience on an odyssey through the deep past of our continent which they will never forget.

Welcome to the Jungle is part of the Complete Concept Series, which some includes show ideas and optional sound design. There are no plans for a formal storyboard at this time, but contact us or the guys at Total Visual Design for all the ideas we have for this great show.
