Alchemy

Alchemy is an ancient practice shrouded in mystery and secrecy. Its’ practitioners sought to turn lead into gold, a quest that has captured the imaginations of people for thousands of years. “Transmutation” is the key word characterizing alchemy and aimed at the great human “goods”; wealth, longevity, and immortality. The show will portray a journey from rags to riches and dark to colorful in four distinct stages.

Musical inspiration is drawn from famous Mozart melodies; first presented in a straightforward manner but uniquely transformed as the show evolves. Selections include: Minari in A Minor for Piano-10th Sketch, Evanescence’s take on Lacrymosa, and original music by Matt Hightower.

Alchemy is part of the Scott Koter Signature Series, which includes Scott’s detailed show design document as well as a one time video performance assessment.  The show also includes a detailed storyboard and optional sound design.
